Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a no-nonsense individual and one of the finest performers of this generation. The ‘Manto’ actor gets into the skin of his character and works very hard at his craft. Nawaz has a level headed approach towards life as he doesn’t get carried away too easily with success or failure.

Now, Nawaz is in Kanpur for a shoot and a video of him being mobbed by a fan for a selfie. In the video, one of the fans literally dragged and pushed Nawaz for clicking a photo. The cops reacted quickly and took the fan away. The actor has been shooting for ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ and it’s being helmed by debutante director Honey Trehan.

The unruly behaviour by the crowd is not justifiable at all. Yes, we are living in the age of social media and selfies, but invading someone’s personal space is not on.

On the work front, Nawazuddin will be next seen in ‘Photograph’ opposite Sanya Malhotra. The film will be the reunion of the director Ritesh Batra and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui after their successful collaboration in ‘The Lunchbox’.

Nawaz also portrayed the character of late Bal Thackeray in ‘Thackeray’. This biopic was based on the life and times of Shiv Sena founder and supremo Bal Thackeray. Nawazuddin once again did a commendable job by playing Balasaheb on screen.
