Nawazuddin Siddiqui mourns the demise of his Russian acting guru Valentin Teplyakov

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the finest actors we have in Bollywood. Be it art or commercial films, Nawazuddin has proved his acting mettle by picking a range of characters of various shades and performing them effortlessly.

The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor was recently left heartbroken when he learned about the demise of his Russian acting teacher Valentin Teplyakov. Nawaz took to Instagram account to mourn the demise of his acting guru who had taught him method acting.

Nawaz took to his Instagram handle and sharing a picture of his teacher, he wrote, “I am deeply disheartened about the loss of my Acting Guru #ValentinTeplyakov – The man who introduced me to Method Acting and it’s depth. An irreparable loss to me & to the world of Art of Acting(sic)”

Back in February this year, Nawaz had shared a picture with Valentin. The actor was elated to meet his guru after a long time. Alongside the picture, Nawaz had written, “The man who introduced me to Method Acting, Sir Valentin Teplyakov from Moscow. I acted in his play IVANOV (Anton Chekhov) in 1996, which changed me as an actor. Honoured to meet you after so long.(sic)”

On the work front, Nawazuddin was last seen in Netflix’s ‘Serious Men’. He will be next seen in ‘No Land’s Man’.
