CONFIRMED: Nawazuddin Siddiqui not part of Kabir Khan’s ’83’

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one star, who has really battled all odds and adversities to reach this level in the industry. Nawaz is one of the most talented and charismatic actors going around in Bollywood currently. The ‘Thackeray’ actor trusts his instincts greatly and likes to improvise.

Now, there were speculations going around regarding Nawazuddin Siddiqui being part of Kabir Khan’s ’83’. Nawaz was supposed to play Ranveer Singh’s coach in this sports drama.

Putting an end to all the rumours, Nawazuddin’s spokesperson said, “There is absolutely no truth to this. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is not part of ’83’. While he does share great respect and deep admiration for Kabir Khan as a director and would love to work with him in the future, he has not signed ’83′”.

Earlier, the filmmakers announced that former Indian cricketer Sandeep Patil’s son Chirag Patil would be portraying his father in ’83’.

Ranveer Singh will be portraying the character of former Indian captain Kapil Dev in ’83’. Ranveer certainly has pretty big shoes to fill and is undergoing training to nail Kapil Dev’s character.

Kabir Khan directorial would be Ranveer Singh‘s first trilingual film to be made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. There has been immense excitement amongst the audience to witness the magnificent event be recreated on the silver screen.
