Racism is a menace that is being long discussed and well, the stories of it persisting in Bollywood too have captured the attention. But for Nawazuddin Siddiqui, racism does not exist in Bollywood. The ace actor, who is known for his talent more than his looks, is currently on his toes promoting his upcoming film ‘Freaky Ali’. So at one such promotional event, Nawazuddin spoke about racism in Bollywood.
He was quoted saying, “I think there is no racism in this film industry. They are only in need of talent though it takes time but, if you are talented you will get your due. I am thankful to be part of this industry.” Good to know that at racism is something that the actors do not have to face in an industry where menace like casting couch, wage gap already persists.
Anyway, Nawazuddin, who has been part of some of the epic films like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘The Lunchbox’, ‘Manjhi: The Mountain Man’ and more, has donned the hat of a golf player in ‘Freaky Ali’. The film which is helmed by Sohail Khan will make it to the theatres on September 9.
