Nayanthara to star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Atlee’s upcoming Hindi film?

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest stars in Bollywood and Nayanthara is called the ‘Lady Superstar’ in the South. Director Atlee is also a big name down South. If reports are to be believed, SRK and Nayanthara will be seen together in Atlee’s next. It will be the Hindi debut directorial of the Tamil director. For the unversed, in 2019, Atlee had hinted about his collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan via a Twitter chat.

As per the latest reports, Atlee is currently busy with the pre-production work for the film. It is also said that Shah Rukh will play dual roles in this film with Atlee. Till now, nothing has been confirmed but it is expected that the film will be announced officially and the makers will also announce the cast and crew. If the reports turn out to be true, then this will be SRK’s first movie with the award-winning director. While Nayanthara had already worked under Atlee’s direction in his debut film Raja Rani and Bigil that is his latest movie. It will be her Bollywood debut opposite SRK.

Another report in Cinema Vikatan states that Nayanthara had recently signed the dotted line of the project. Also, it is stated that Kannada actor Sudeep will play the antagonist.

Currently, Khan is busy shooting Siddharth Anand’s Pathan at Yash Raj Studios. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The shooting has reportedly resumed on June 25. Yesterday, he completed 29 years in Bollywood and he conducted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Twitter to interact with his fans. He also thanked his fans for the overwhelming love he has received over these 29 years. Talking about Nayanthara, she has movies like Annaatthe, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, and Netrikan among others.
