NCB officials quash reports of Ranveer Singh asking to be a part of Deepika Padukone’s interrogation in drugs case

The Sushant Singh Rajput death case has taken a very unexpected turn as the drug conspiracy emerged from Rhea Chakraborty’s chats. After Rhea was interrogated by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) ahead of her arrest and post which names like Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Deepika Padukone have emerged.

These actresses are to be summoned by the NCB for questioning starting with Rakul Preet Singh today, but it was said that Ranveer Singh has requested to join wifey Deepika as she suffers from anxiety and panic attacks.

Reacting to such reports, NCB officials quashed these rumours and told India Today that they have not received any such request from Ranveer, “There are questions whether Ranveer Singh is joining the investigation with Deepika Padukone. We confirm that we have not received any such request from any summoned person. The last email received from the concerned summoned person is only regarding joining the investigation.”

Meanwhile, Deepika received the summon by the NCB when she was shooting for Shakun Batra’s next with Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi in Goa. The actress has landed in the city yesterday ahead of her interrogation. Deepika will be interrogated by the NCB on Saturday, September 26.
