The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) that is currently investigating the drug angle case of Sushant Singh Rajput will issue summons to Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor today as per a report in Times Now. They are expected to be called for questioning on September 24 or 25. Ever since NCB has been probing the angle, many names from the industry have surfaced.
Deepika Padukone’s name also came up as NCB has accessed the chats between her and her manager, Karishma Prakash where they allegedly talked about the use of banned drugs. The agency also questioned Kwan Talent Management agency CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar and Sushant’s talent manager, Jaya Saha.
Rakul Preet Singh, Dia Mirza and fashion designer Simone Kambhatta are also under the radar of NCB and they are also likely to be summoned.
Talking about Sara and Shraddha, the drug law enforcement agency got the lead on Shraddha and Sara after they found that both the actresses went on Pawna island multiple times for parties with Sushant. Sara worked with Sushant in ‘Kedarnath’, while Shraddha was seen with Rajput in ‘Chhichhore’.
Earlier, the NCB had confirmed that Rhea Chakraborty confessed Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Simone Khambatta have consumed narcotics substance. Later, Rhea too reportedly confessed that she too had consumed drugs. Her judicial custody is now extended till October 6 by a special NDPS court.
