Aryan Khan was arrested in the Cordelia Cruise Ship drugs case in October 2021 and now an NCB witness in the same case has passed away of a heart attack. As per ANI, the Narcotics Control Bureau’s witness Prabhakar Sail died on Friday afternoon after he suffered from a heart attack. He was NCB’s Panch witness in the drugs case in which Aryan was arrested along with the other accused.
A tweet by ANI read, “Mumbai | NCB’s panch witness in Cordelia cruise drug case, Prabhakar Sail died yesterday. As per his lawyer Tushar Khandare, he died of a heart attack at his residence in Mahul area of Chembur yesterday.” It is said that Prabhakar was one of the witnesses who alleged extortion by NCB officials.

As per a report by India today, Sail was at home and the family did not suspect foul play behind his death. He was survived by his mother, wife and two children. Prabhakar’s family has decided to wait for his brothers to arrive from the village before performing his last rites. Sail was the personal security guard of another witness, KP Gosawi.
Recently, the Narcotics Control Bureau sought 90 more days to file a charge sheet in the Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case. However, the Court only granted them 60 more days.
