Neelima Azeem reveals why Shahid Kapoor and Mira chose Zain as their son’s name

Actor Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput were recently blessed with a son. The lovely couple who has a two-year-old daughter Misha, is over the moon with the arrival of their new family member.

Shahid and Mira named their daughter Misha, which is a combination of their names. So everyone was wondering what will they name their son. Putting all the guesswork to rest, Shahid took to Twitter and announced, “Zain Kapoor is here and we feel complete. Thank you for all the wishes and blessings. We are overjoyed and so grateful. Love to all.”

Now, the name Zain has a very beautiful meaning as it means grace and beauty. But the question that crossed our mind was why did the couple choose this particular name as it is not a combination of their names. Well, much to our delight Shahid’s mother Neelima Azeem finally revealed the reason why Shahid’s son was named Zain.

Talking about the name Neelima was quoted in Mid-Day as, “I think it is the name that has been running in everybody’s mind for a long time but obviously, it was his parents who decided to call him Zain. But this name has been there in the family. I have a nephew with the same name. It is a beautiful name.”

So now you know why the couple decided to name their son Zain?

We are happy that now Misha has a younger sibling to play with.
