Neena Gupta looks for her ‘Trikal’ co-star Nikhil Bhagat; fans help her out

Neena Gupta is quite active on social media and she keeps on posting throwback pics most of the time. Recently, taking to her Instagram handle, the veteran actress shared a throwback picture of her and her co-star Nikhil Bhagat from the movie ‘Trikal’ (1985). Sharing the black and white picture, Neena captioned it as “#Throwback Me and Nikhil in #Trikal Where are you Nikhil, what do you look like now?”

Going by the caption, it is clear that Neena is not in touch with Nikhil Bhagat. Most of her fans are happy to see the picture and the moment she posted this picture, netizens started pouring in their reactions. Nikhil played Deepika Padukone’s father in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’. He made his Bollywood debut with Prakash Jha’s 1984 film ‘Hip Hip Hurray’.

Talking about ‘Trikal’, Nikhil Bhagat played Ruiz Pereira in the Shyam Benegal’s directorial. Apart from Neena Gupta and Nikhil Bhagat, the movie also starred Leela Naidu, Naseeruddin Shah, Soni Razdan, Dalip Tahil, Anita Kanwar, K K Raina, and Ila Arun among others. It was one of the acclaimed movies of Indian cinema that won two National Film Awards – Best Direction and the Best Costume Design.
