Neerja Bhanot’s biographical book to release before Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Neerja’

Filmmaker Ram Madhavani is all set to hit the theatres with his latest directorial venture ‘Neerja’. The ad filmmaker braved to execute the story of Neerja Bhanot (a courageous air-hostess who helped over three hundred of passengers escaping during a flight hijack and gave away her life while shielding three children from bullets) cinematically. Casting Sonam Kapoor was another tough decision as this is probably the most crucial on-screen character Sonam has played.

However, even before ‘neerja’ releases, a book on Neerja Bhanot is going to be unveiled.

‘The Neerja I Knew’; this is what the book has been titled as. The book will include fvoices of Neerja’s friends and family. Anees Bhanot, Neerja’s brother will be compiling the book.

It’ll release on February 15. On the other hand, ‘Neerja’ hits the theatres on February 19.
