Remember Neetu Chandra from comedy drama ‘Garam Masala’? The actress has done a few Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies. Now, the actress is all set to try her hands in Hollywood. She is making her Hollywood debut with a short film ‘The Worst Day’. As per a statement, it is a comedy film written and directed by Bulgarian filmmaker Stanislava Ivy.
Talking about her role, Neetu told in a statement to IANS that 2019 has started off on a wonderful note for her and she is thrilled to work on this project.
“It’s been a learning experience for me because it’s my first ever negative role. She is wild, she is interesting and she is the villain,” Neetu said.
The ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!’ actress also said that the film has “changed her” it is one of her most special projects.
The film might come in a TV series but as of now, nothing has been confirmed. ‘The Worst Day’ also stars Marietta Melrose and Jose Moreno. She will also be seen in a Korean youth action drama ‘Narae’.
Neetu made her Bollywood debut with John Abraham and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Garam Masala’ in 2005. After that, she appeared in Hindi movies like ‘Traffic Signal’, ‘One Two Three’, ’13B’ and ‘Apartment’ among others.
