Neetu Kapoor: I am totally in love with my husband today, I look for him everywhere

Their’s was a love story with many ups and downs. From hindrance caused by outsiders to tiffs between themselves, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor have had it all. And that’s what has repeatedly put their love through arduous acid tests. After 37 years of togetherness, lady Kapoor today says she has discovered the true colour of love.

The season of love is on and we are embracing our most precious bond once more. Two days prior to Valentine’s Day, the couple indulged in a conversation with Times Of India, and talked about their decades-long attachment like never before.

“I don’t believe in all this dying-for-love, Laila-Majnu stuff. That is just hormonal attraction, which disappears soon. Real love comes later, a love that forgives everything – as a mother with a child. For Rishi and me, real love has come now after so many years of togetherness. “An actor’s wife needs to have a large heart … I’m sure Bob hasn’t been squeaky clean, there must have been a couple of trespasses… Such things happen in most men’s lives, and they did happen, but I chose not to give them any importance. They were just fleeting distractions that came and went,” she adds.

That sure sounds beautiful. After all, what’s love without the essence of forgiveness?

At various instances, rumours of Rishi and Neetu undergoing rough patches have hit the headlines. But we’re so glad they didn’t consider giving up as an option!
