Neetu Kapoor on Rishi Kapoor’s cancer battle: I wanted to do everything in my power that he should not be in pain

It was last year in September when Rishi Kapoor went for the treatment of his cancer to the Big Apple. He was accompanied by his son Ranbir Kapoor and wife Neetu. Since then the actor is in New York getting treatment for the Big C. Neetu Kapoor is very active on social media and she keeps on updating about the health of her husband.

In an interview with Times Now, Neetu Kapoor said, “It’s like he became like my child and I wanted to do everything in my power that he should not be in pain, he should get whatever he wants.”

Also, Rishi Kapoor was all praise for his wife. Calling her “rock of Gibraltar”, he said, “She really supported me. Without her I wouldn’t be not getting anywhere.”

While talking about how she took care of Rishi Kapoor’s medication, Neetu Kapoor said, “I don’t understand these dawayis and I can’t do it wrong. I have to do it right. I kind of made my own list and the way it should be given, what I would understand.”

Earlier while talking to Mid-Day Rishi Kapoor spoke about his wife how she stood with him during the tough period. He said, “I have learned to remain calm with my family and fans. I owe it to them; they have given me so much love and sent good wishes. Neetu has been my rock and has shouldered all the responsibilities. So has been my family, who would drop in to give me the strength to battle my illness.”

We wish Rishi Kapoor returns to India soon with his wife.
