Neetu Kapoor remembers Rishi Kapoor on his 69th birth anniversary; Says ‘I’m sure he is celebrating with his family up there’

Actor Neetu Kapoor, wife of the late actor, Rishi Kapoor remembered him on his birth anniversary. The actor would be celebrating his 69th birthday on this special day. Neetu Kapoor made a heartfelt post on her Instagram. She shared a beautiful picture of her with her late husband and wished him. Neetu Kapoor remembered ‘Kapoor Saab’ with a picture of them from their travel diaries. The veteran actress recalled the last few years she spent with Rishi Kapoor in New York City and opened up about what she learned from him. 

The Amar Akbar Anthony actress said she learned a lot from Rishi ji during their last few ‘traumatic years’ in NYC. She opened up about the highs and lows and the wonderful moments. Neetu Kapoor said that hope and being strong is what Rishi Kapoor taught her. She said the family misses him today and mentioned she can picture how excited he would have been about his 69th birthday.

In the caption, Neetu Kapoor wrote, “I learnt a lot from Rishi Ji during our last few traumatic years in NYC .. how we celebrated when his blood counts were high .. we dined shopped laughed .. in his lows we just stayed home watched tv ordered in amazing food n still had some wonderful moments in hope that the next round of chemotherapy he would be better .. hope n being strong is what he taught me .. value each day .. we all miss him today !!! I can picture him how excited he would have been for his 69th birthday !! I’m sure he is celebrating with his family up there Happy birthday Kapoor Saab (sic)”

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Rishi Kapoor’s daughter also made a post remembering her father on his 69th birth anniversary. Riddhima shared a throwback picture with her Papa on her Instagram stories. She wrote, “We celebrate you everyday! We miss you &we love you! Happy Birthday Papa! Heaven’s brightest shining star. We love you to the stars & beyond…(sic)”

Earlier, ahead of Rishi Kapoor’s birth anniversary, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima had made posts on their Instagram stories. They shared pictures with the late actor and remembered him.
