Neetu Kapoor remembers Rishi Kapoor; shares a perfect family photo with a heartbreaking caption

The Kapoor family was met with an unfortunate turn of events as veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30. It was a huge shock to the entire nation and the film industry. The Kapoors were known as one of the most perfect families and were looked up by many. Neetu Kapoor recently mourned her husband Rishi’s demise as she wished for her family portrait to be complete.

Neetu took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of her family that included her kids Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and granddaughter. The picture also had a vibrant Rishi smiling for the paps along with his family. The picture is quite heartbreaking to see after reading Neetu’s caption, “How I wish this picture could remain complete as is ❤️(sic)”

Rishi was battling cancer for the last two years as he was diagnosed with leukaemia. The actor breathed his last breath in a Mumbai hospital. Neetu had earlier thanked the team of doctors at the hospital who treated Rishi in his final days and expressed her gratitude to them.

Sharing pictures of herself with Rishi she wrote, “As a family, we have a deep sense of loss.. when we sit together and look back at the past few months what we also feel is immense gratitude – gratitude towards the doctors at HN reliance hospital! The whole team of doctors, brothers and nurses headed by Dr Tarang Gianchandani treated my husband like he was their own – they advised us like we were their own.. and for all that and more I thank them from the bottom of my heart..? @rfhospital(sic)”

The veteran actor was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2018.
