Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. The couple tied the knot in April this year. Ranbir and Alia’s wedding took place in the presence of their close friends and family. Now, in a recent interview, Neetu Kapoor revealed how her son Ranbir balances love between her and Alia Bhatt post marriage. She also opened up about her bond with her daughter-in-law.

Speaking with Indian Express, Neetu said that her relationship with Alia is same as it was with her mother-in-law. The veteran actress said, “I feel the relationship between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is the husband’s fault. Because you love your mother so much, and jab tum joru ka gulaam ban jaate ho na, fir maa ko problem hoti hai.”

She added, “If you balance your love for your mother and your wife, it is always nicer. She will love you more. When you become too much of your wife, that’s when the mother feels.”

Furthermore, Neetu said she is not getting that feeling from her son Ranbir as he is very intelligent and knows how to balance his love. The veteran actress said, “My son is a very intelligent man, he balances his love. He doesn’t go all ‘mom mom mom’, he may call me once in five days and ask, ‘aap thik ho na?’ For him to ask me this is enough.”

Neetu Kapoor is currently busy promoting her film JugJugg Jeeyo. JugJugg Jeeyo also stars Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli. The film is slated to release on 24 June.

Ranbir, on the other hand, will be seen Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. The actor also has Shamshera and Luv Ranjan’s untitled film. Alia’s upcoming projects include Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film also stars Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The actress is currently working on her Hollywood debut film, Heart of Stone.
