Neetu Kapoor finally tests negative for Covid-19; daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni confirms

Neetu Kapoor had recently tested positive for Covid-19 along with some of her co-stars of ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. Neetu had flown to Mumbai from Chandigarh after her test results came positive. Now there is some good news for her fans as the veteran actress has tested negative for the deadly virus.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to her Instagram handle to share that her mother Neetu has finally tested negative for Covid-19. Riddhima also thanked everyone for their good wishes and prayers. Sharing a selfie with her mom, Riddhima wrote, “Thank you for all your good wishes & prayers – My mother has tested Covid negative today ??❤️ @neetu54(sic).”

Earlier confirming her diagnosis, Neetu had posted, “Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid- 19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor’s advice and feeling better. I am so grateful for all your love and support! Please stay safe, wear a mask, keep safe distance. Take care.(sic)”

Along with Neetu, her ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ co-stars Varun Dhawan and Maniesh Paul have also tested positive for Covid-19. Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani who are also part of the same movie have tested negative.
