Hum isse bohot pyaar se samjhte bhi the….. This newspaper is tomorrow’s raddi. Ye dustbin mein jaane hi wala hai. So, don’t bother about these things. But humlogo ko jaroor affect karta hai ki- why my child only? Why only my daughter? Kharab lagta hai. Pregnancy ke baad it’s a done thing ki weight put on hoga. Agar weight put on hua hai toh weight kum bhi hoga but logoka to kam hai likhna. But hum iss yahi samjhte hai ki koi baat nahi beta sab thik ho jayege.”
Taking the conversation ahead, the Chup Chup Ke actress elaborated upon how bad is comparing things. Each person has a different journey and their journeys should never be compared. Neha Dhupia commented, “As an individual, there are very high standards. Who is the one defining these standards? One thing I always went away from was comparison. I always tell myself, If you want to go to hell, you compare yourself with someone else. Comparison is the shortest way to hell. Just in case I stumble upon parents who compare then that’s a no show for me. I am not walking up this playdate or part ever again.”
Lastly, the actress also commented on how her weight loss journey was compared to that of the other actress. Neha said that comparing people is not appropriate and that one doesn’t have to always have opinions. It’s already exhausting, and these things make it more exhausting.
