Neha Dhupia joins the web series bandwagon after Shahid Kapoor, Kajol, and Sonakshi Sinha

Actress Neha Dhupia has been a part of the film industry for almost two decades. She has entertained everyone with her stint in films like Singh Is Kinng, Chup Chup Ke, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, among others. She was recently seen in A Thursday and Lust Stories 2. Now, Neha Dhupia is all set to make her web series debut.

Talking about the project, it is touted to be a family-centric drama with a dash of humour. It will be shot across Mumbai and Delhi. The show is being helmed by a debutant director and will go on floors in late October. The show explores modern-day human relationships from the perspective of a nuclear family. With this project, Neha is now foraying for the first time into the space of a full-fledged digital series.

Neha Dhupia expressed excitement about the achievement. She shared, “I am thrilled to be part of this wonderful project that not only marks my debut in the OTT series space. It’s a fun concept and I can’t wait to explore a whole new gamut of quirks that the project and script and tied in with it”.

With OTT space having a wider reach post-pandemic and web-series format being popular among the masses. Several Bollywood actors took a leap and entered this space this year. Some of the popular ones include Shahid Kapoor, Kajol, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sonakshi Sinha among others. While Shahid Kapoor starred in Farzi and Bloody Daddy, Sonakshi featured in the cop-drama Dahaad and Kajol in the courtroom drama The Trial.
