Neha Gadhwalla’s inspiring journey: From being an assistant hairstylist to a successful entrepreneur with Eficiente

While we have seen the rise and fall of several stars but have you ever wondered about the team behind the making of a star? No, we are not talking about the artiste’s family we are talking about their managers.

In the field of glitz and glamour, a lot is riding on a celeb and managing one’s work is not an easy task. And that’s where the celebrity managers come into play. From juggling with the artiste’s several commitments to making sure they get their due, celebrity managers play a vital role in this industry. And one such celeb manager is Neha Gadhwalla, who is the proud owner of Eficiente Artist Management. Eficiente is a boutique company offering management services to makeup artists, hairstylists, stylist, photographers and influencers. However, Neha’s success is not an overnight story. She has worked in the industry for years before realising her long-cherished dream.

They say if you truly want something then the entire universe conspires in helping you achieve that. Neha’s journey in the industry is a living example of that. From being an assistant hairstylist to becoming a renowned celebrity manager, she has come a long way. And it was her sheer hard work and dedication that helped her reach where she is today. Neha started at the young age of 17 as she learned hairstyling at Sapna Bhavnani’s Mad O Wat. During this time, her rendezvous with several celebs from the industry helped her build a rapport with them.

From being an assistant hairstylist to one of the most sought-after hairstylists, Neha went on to add more feathers to her cap. Her love for cinema landed her a job as the production assistant for Pritish Nandy Communications. After rejoining Sapna Bhavnani’s Mad O Wat, Neha once again came in contacts with several celebrity clients. And in no time she successfully established herself as an independent hairstylist. Her on-the-job interaction with celebs, producers, and filmmakers helped her learn the ropes of the trade and thereby enhance her celebrity management skills. She was not only the personal hairstylist of John Abraham but she also worked as his manager for five years (2011-2016).

After working with John, Neha went on to manage Sonam Kapoor. And thanks to her fruitful experiences she established her own artist management company, Eficiente with help of Sonam and Rhea Kapoor.

And let us tell you that managing an artist is not a cakewalk. It comes with its perks and struggles. When asked what is the fuel that keeps her going, Neha credits her mother as her inspiration. By establishing her own management company, she thought it is the best way to not only help the artists prosper but also grow with them. Eficiente now boasts of an impressive clientele as they manage popular stylists like Mohit Rai, Aastha Sharma and influencers like Pooja Dhingra. The success story of self-made entrepreneurs like Neha redefines how there’s no substitute for hard work.
