Neha Kakkar says ‘I have no regrets’ as she opens up on getting trolled for crying on reality shows

Singer Neha Kakkar is one of the most popular voices who has given several chartbuster tracks. She has lent her voice in Hindi songs and has left mesmerized music lovers with her soothing voice. Neha has also been seen as judge on many singing reality shows. On these shows, the singer is often seen getting emotional and breaking into tears when she is deeply moved by any contestant’s life story or a song crooned by contestants. Sometimes, she even cries telling her own life story.

For this, she has been often trolled and videos of Neha crying on the shows become a meme fest as well. Now, she has reacted to the incessant trolling and criticism. Read on to know what she has said.

In an interview with Times of India, Neha said, “I can’t blame them, there are many people who are not emotional at all! For people who are not emotional, I would seem fake. But people who are sensitive, like me, will understand and relate to me. Today, we don’t see too many people who can feel others’ pain and who want to help them. I have that quality in me and I have no regrets about it”.

When she was asked if crying on reality shows adds more drama to it, she replied that there are elements included in a show to make it interesting as showing just singing and dancing might get boring, so they also focuses on the lives of the contestants and their families.

The Garmi singer further said, “Viewers also relate to them. When we show how a contestant has come a long way by sacrificing things, people connect with it because everyone has someone of their own who has been through struggle and achieved things. We are just showing on the show what happens in our homes.”

Neha Kakkar got married to singer Rohanpreet Singh on October 24 in 2020 in Delhi.
