Neha Kakkar always manages to grab the headlines either for her songs or for her personal life. A few hours back Neha posted a story on her Instagram handle that hints that she is requesting her partner to tie the knot. The caption read, “Aaja chal viyah karwaiye lockdown vich katt karwaiye” which means let’s get married in lockdown as there would be less expenses during the lockdown.

Before you jump into any conclusion, let us tell you that, this popular line is from her latest music video song titled, ‘Diamond Da Challa’. So, it was just a promotional strategy for the song. The music video was released on August 26, 2020.

In one video, Neha was seen crooning a few lines from her song.

Amid the lockdown, Neha had come up with many songs and they become instant hits. She has a huge fan base and the singer keeps them hooked by posting interesting posts on her social media handles.

Meanwhile, Neha Kakkar’s name was found in a merit list published by the Manikchak college West Bengal’s Malda district for admission to an undergraduate course. Her name was found at three places of the merit lists for the admissions to a B.A pass course, English Honours and Educational Honours course respectively as per a report by ANI.

Later, the authority found out that the list was fake and it was a conspiracy to defame the West Bengal government online admission system. The college authority filed a complaint at the local police station and the cybercrime police station.
