Neil Nitin Mukesh and his family test COVID positive; actor says, ‘Please do not take the situation out there lightly’

In the last few weeks, several Bollywood celebs have fallen prey to the novel Coronavirus. The latest being Neil Nitin Mukesh and his family. The New York actor took to his social media handles to inform his fans and friends that he and his family have contracted the deadly virus. Neil also urged his fans and followers to not take the situation out there lightly.

Sharing a note on his Instagram handle, Neil wrote, “In spite of all necessary precautions, including staying home, unfortunately, members of my family and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are all home quarantined, following the essential protocols and taking medication as prescribed by our doctors. We thank all of you for your love and good wishes. Take care and stay safe(sic).”

Further urging everyone to not take the current situation lightly, Neil added, “Need all your love and blessings. ??. Please do not take the situation out there lightly (sic)”

Wishing the Saaho actor and his family a speedy recovery, Sophie Choudry commented, “Sending you all tons of love and wishes for a speedy recovery ❤️” Singer Raghav Sachar wrote, “Take care man. U will be fine soon mate. Lots of love.” Yuvika Chaudhary, Vahbbiz Dorabjee, Shweta Pandit also wished the Johnny Gaddaar actor and his family a speedy recovery. 

On the work front, Neil was last seen in Saaho and Bypass Road.
