Salman Khan today dismissed reports of him not doing anymore south remakes, that were making rounds since yesterday that he was averse to acting in remakes after his recent movie ‘Jai Ho’ failed at the Box Office. Sallu’s ‘ Jai Ho’ is a remake of Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Stalin’ a hit South film, but it was unable to break the records of his other South remakes that had done roaring business at the Box Office namely Wanted, Ready, Dabangg and many others.
According to sources, Salman Khan was quite shocked at the rumours and dismissed them saying, “I will do remakes. Who said I won’t do them? I never said that I won’t do remakes. Whenever a good remake comes up, I will do it, but my forthcoming movies are of a different kind.”
‘Jai Ho’ is directed by Sohail Khan and has Danny Denzongpa, Tabu and debutant Daisy Shah along with Salman Khan. It has made Rs. 100 crore all over but was not as great a hit as Sallu’s other movies.
