Nick Jonas feels Priyanka Chopra can be the first Jonas to win an Oscar

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas never cease to amaze us. The couple is made for each other and the way they champion for each other shows us how a supporting spouse can bring the best out of you.

PeeCee’s recent film The White Tiger is out and the actress is being praised for her performance in it. However, it was Nick who gave the actress her best compliment. Nick told Priyanka that she could become ‘the first Jonas to win an Oscar’.

Nick is mighty impressed by wifey Priyanka’s acting chops. He just can’t stop gushing over her performance in Netflix’s The White Tiger. The actress in an interview with Variety’s Awards Circuit Podcast, said, “He was like, ‘You may be the first Jonas to win an Oscar.'”

The Sky Is Pink actress also revealed that she doesn’t want to be put into a box. She wants to explore and play a varied range of characters. “I’m really looking for a trajectory where I have the ability to play various characters and genres and not be bogged down or put into a box or a stereotype of what I can do,” PeeCee shared in the podcast.

After the release of The White Tiger, showering praises over the film, Nick had tweeted, “The White Tiger is out now on @netflix !!! So incredibly proud of my wife @priyankachopra for her work as both an actor and a producer on this movie. Everyone do yourself a favor and go watch this movie right now! Congrats to the entire cast and crew and creative team.”

Helmed by Ramin Bahrani, The White Tiger is based on Aravind Adiga’s Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name. The film features Adarsh Gaurav in the lead role. Priyanka and Rajkummar Rao play the supporting role.

Meanwhile, Priyanka is all set to launch her own haircare line, Anomaly. The actress took to her social media handle and sharing the news, she wrote, “This is ANOMALY.
