Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child, a daughter via surrogacy this year. On Mother’s Day, Priyanka and Nick shared the first photo of their baby girl. The couple had revealed that their daughter spent over hundred days in the NICU before they brought her home.
Nick Jonas recently revealed why it was important for him and PeeCee to talk about their daughter’s hospitalization. The singer-actor said, “I think that what we shared on social media was just kinda the feeling that we had, the gratitude obviously to have our baby home. But also for each and every person that was part of her journey while in the hospital,” via People.
The singer added that he is ‘grateful to have a teammate like Pri’ on his side. He said that she was a ‘rock’ the whole time and still continues to be.

Nick went on to add, “It’s eye opening in a lot of ways. And I think it was really important for us to just share that. And make sure that people know that whatever their journey is, whether it’s something like we went through or diabetes or whatever challenges might come up, you’re not alone.”
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in 2018. Since getting married, they have been giving fans major couple goals. The couple announced the birth of their daughter in January. They had released a statement that read, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
