‘Scam 1992’ actor Nikhil Dwivedi tests positive for Covid-19

Actor-producer Nikhil Dwivedi has tested positive for Covid-19. He underwent a precautionary check-up after complaining a loss of taste and the Coronavirus test result has come positive. He was asymptomatic and has quarantined himself at home. His wife Gouri has tested negative. Nikhil confirmed the news with ETimes and said, “Yes, I have tested positive for Coronavirus.”

Nikhil and his family are taking all the necessary precautions. We wish him a speedy recovery.

The ‘Dabangg 3’ producer keeps on sharing pictures and videos on his Instagram. A few days back, he shared a picture of himself and wrote, “So far so good.”

On the professional front, Nikhil was recently seen in Hansal Mehta’s web series ‘Scam 1992’. Nikhil had recently announced a three-film series, which will feature Shraddha Kapoor as Naagin- a shape-shifting snake and it will be directed by Vishal Furia. While talking to Hindustan Times, he said, “I keep giving the example of Spider Man, which is about a college-going boy who gets bitten by a spider and jumps from one building to another. We are equally ready for an ichchadhari naagin. It depends on how you want it to come on screen. Eventually, it is a fantasy. If a Spider Man or a Superman can exist, so can a shape-shifting snake. Twilight is one of the most successful films; it is believable because we know it is a fantasy.”
