No cameo or a song of Kareena in ‘Golmaal Again’

When the fourth instalment of ‘Golmaal’ titled ‘Golmaal Again’ was announced, Kareena Kapoor Khan was expecting her first child. So, though Rohit Shetty opted not to cast her in the film, but surely was keen on having her in the film, even if just for a song. However, recently he cleared that Kareena is not there in the film.

Rohit had earlier told a news agency, “It would have been easy to call her and tell her to do the film. She would have said, ‘Let’s do it’. But I can’t do that (referring to her pregnancy). I will miss her for sure.”

“I can’t talk to her (as she is pregnant) to do it (‘Golmaal Again’). It’s odd. But let’s see we will do a song or something with her (for the movie),” he added.

Recently, while talking about having Kareena in ‘Golmaal Again’, Rohit told a tabloid, “No, not really. If I want her, I’ll do a whole film with her. It’s a different story, there is no suspense, but if I reveal why we needed a girl like Parineeti, you will know the whole story. Once you see the film, you will realise what’s the reason.”

Well, we too will miss Kareena in the ‘Golmaal’ gang. She is currently enjoying her vacation with hubby, Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan in Gstaad. Reportedly, once she comes back from her vacation she will be starting the shooting of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ which also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. Reportedly, the movie is the adaptation of Hollywood movie ‘Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants’.
