“No change in my relationship status”: Aditya Roy Kapur

It’s been two years since the release of Aditya Roy Kapur‘s breakthrough film ‘Aashiqui 2’ giving him a much needed break in Bollywood. With the grand success of this film Aditya was started being linked to his co-star Shraddha Kapoor. Apparently, both of them never confirmed to be dating each other. But recently the actor opened up about this by confirming he is single.

“I am single, there is no change in my relationship status and no complaints either. Being single isn’t all that bad as you can be selfish and focus on yourself and your career. When in a relationship you are responsible for another person too. I don’t want to commit unless I am absolutely ready.”

He dismissed the rumor when asked about the exchange of rings part with Shraddha, where he jokingly said, “I am not in the habit of putting a ring on my own finger. People seem to know more about me than I do.”

The actor is currently working with Katrina Kaif in his upcoming romantic film titled ‘Fitoor’ directed by Abhishek Kapoor which also stars Tabu, Aditi Rao Hydari, Rahul Bhat and Akshay Oberoi in key roles. The film is slated to release on February 12, 2016.
