No direct interaction between Janhvi Kapoor and Sukesh Chandrashekhar, reveal sources

After actors like Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi were named in the conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar scandal who extorted Rs 215 crores from Aditi Singh, Bollywood actresses like Sara Ali Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor had also been named in the same reportedly.

Talking about Janhvi Kapoor, the actor was targeted by Sukesh through Sukesh’s wife Leena Maria Paul, as per a report by India Today. Janhvi was approached by Leena as the owner of a salon called Nail Artistry. Kapoor was also called for the opening of a salon in Bengaluru on July 19, 2021. But being unaware of everything, Janhvi inaugurated the salon.

But a source close to Janhvi has clarified that there was no direct interaction between Janhvi Kapoor and Sukesh Chandrashekhar. A source close to Janhvi reveals, “There was never any direct interaction between Sukesh and Janhvi or anyone else from her team. All of Janhvi’s brand-related work or any other professional commitments are managed by her agency. She doesn’t personally entertain any such queries.”

The conman is currently in Delhi’s Tihar jail. Reportedly he had mentioned the names of these three actresses names. He also said that he contacted them before and also tried to send them gifts at various events, with different identities.

Talking about Sara, she was gifted a luxury watch and chocolates which were rejected by the actor. Bhumi Pednekar revealed during her interrogation that she did not receive any gifts from Sura or Shekar or any of his associates.
