No fantasy-romance for SLB’s niece Sharmin and Jaaved Jaaferi’s son Mizaan

It was confirmed by Jaaved Jaaferi that his son Mizaan will be making his Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production venture. The movie will also mark the debut of SLB’s niece Sharmin, and will be directed by Mangesh Hadawale, but it won’t be a fantasy-romance what we usually get to see Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies.

A source was quoted by a leading daily, “It won’t be a fantasy-romance, but a very real story with the kind of social relevance that made Nagraj Manjule’s ‘Sairat’ so special.” It is said that the shooting of the film will start after Sanjay Leela Bhansali wraps up ‘Padmavati’.

Mizaan and Sharmin are getting ready for their Bollywood debut. While the latter has been attending acting school in New York, the former is also undergoing training for his role in the film. It is said that Sharmin is a combination of Divya Bharati and Preity Zinta, and Mizaan is said to have wild passion of Shah Rukh Khan and the controlled intensity of Ajay Devgn. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Padmavati’ which is slated to hit the screens on November 17, 2017. The movie stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Sultan Alauddin Khilji. The shooting of the film had faced a lot of hurdles due to protest against it. However, now the shooting is going smoothly, and we hope to see a few glimpses of the film soon.
