‘No Fathers In Kashmir’ Mid-Ticket Review: The first half masterfully depicts the horrors of Kashmir

The first half of ‘No Fathers In Kashmir‘ masterfully depicts the horrors of Kashmir. Despite its picturesque setting, Kashmir sees many atrocities happening on its land on a daily basis.

The movie is based on Noor and her friend Majid. Noor comes to Kashmir from London and discovers a dark secret about her father. She sets out on a search and gets caught by the armed forces.

It portrays them in a bad light (as barbarians) and probably that is why the film did not see the light of the day for so long. With great performances, the movie manages to tug your heartstrings. We are certainly looking forward to the second half.
