No non-payment issues on the sets of Anushka Sharma’s ‘Phillauri’

Anushka Sharma is currently busy shooting for her production venture ‘Phillauri’. There were reports that the drivers on the sets of the film protested over non-payment of dues. It was also said that the drivers waited for Anushka outside her hotel in Punjab and stopped her from leaving for Mumbai.

However, the film’s spokesperson has denied the reports. “There have been some reports doing the rounds in the media about ‘Phillauri’s Patiala schedule. We would like to set the record straight.  All payments were made on time in advance to the local line producer and it is his responsibility to dispense it forward to the local vendors. The reportage is extremely exaggerated.”
