Superstar Salman Khan has wrapped up his upcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and is now gearing up for his next. Now Salman Khan is prepping up for his Ali Abbas Zafar film ‘Sultan’. The Khan is undergoing intense training to acquire the body of a 4o-year-old boxer. Recently there were rumours of Sanjay Dutt being signed up to depict the role of Salman Khan’s mentor in the film. But seems like they were just rumours.
Sources said, “Salman never indicated that he wanted Sanjay Dutt to be in the film. There is no question of signing Sanjay Dutt or anyone else until the leading lady is in place. The film’s leading lady, a new face will be in place in the next two weeks. After that there are two important male characters to be cast. One of them would be that of Salman’s mentor. But no Sanjay Dutt. Isn’t he in prison? Salman will be launching a new girl. He already has someone in mind and has spoken to producer Adi Chopra and director Ali Abbas Zafar about it.”
Sources added, “Salman was not sure he wanted to do Sultan. It’s the role of a 40-year old boxer. It’d require a huge amount of preparation. Salman would have to change his entire physique and body language. It’d entail many months of a strict exercise regime and a new diet control so he can acquire a boxer’s body. With his heavy commitments, plus his pending court cases, Salman was not sure he can give Sultan the time attention and single-minded focus it requires.”
Sultan will be releasing on Eid 2016.
