Not just Drishyam 2, Tabu and Ajay Devgn also kickstart shoot of Bhushan Kumar’s next Bholaa

Actor Tabu has now kick-started the shoot of Bholaa along with Ajay Devgn. The film is a Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster film, Kaithi which is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar’s T-series. Just recently, Ajay took to his Instagram and dropped a photo with Shriya Saran while announcing that they have begun the shoot of Drishyam 2. Now, Tabu has shared a picture of a clapboard while mentioning that she will be shooting for Bholaa, apart from Drishyam 2.

Sharing the picture on her gram, Tabu wrote, “New beginnings. @adffilms @ajaydevgn @tseriesfilms @reliance.entertainment @dreamwarriorpictures @sarkarshibasish @prabhu_sr.” Bholaa will be directed by Dharmendra Sharma, who is Devgn’s cousin and the cinematography is by Aseem Bajaj. Dharmendra along with Vikrant, another cousin of Ajay, accompanied the actor during their visit to Kerala’s Sabarimala temple in January some days back.

Meanwhile, talking about Drishyam 2 in a statement released a few days back, Ajay stated, “Drishyam was loved and it’s a legend. I am now elated to present yet another interesting story with Drishyam 2. Vijay is a multidimensional character and he creates an engaging narrative onscreen. Abhishek Pathak (director) has a fresh vision for this film. I’m keenly looking forward to part 2, filling in the large shoes of the earlier film with people investing in the mystery and the characters.”

Reportedly, Ajay Devgn has completed the first schedule of Drishyam 2 directed by Abhishek Pathak and moved on to his next one, Bholaa. Apart from Tabu and Ajay Devgn, there will be a new member joining the star cast and he is Akshaye Khanna. 

As per a report in Pinkvilla, Abhishek and the writers of Drishyam 2 have introduced a new character (played by Akshaye), who was not a part of the first film. Apparently, he plays a cop who is a close associate of Tabu and assists her in the investigation. Akshay is said to play a tough, smart, savvy, sharp cop who is after Ajay.
