Not Katrina Kaif and Anushka Shetty, Prabhas’ ‘Saaho’ finds the leading lady in Pooja Hegde?

After creating history at the box office with the ‘Baahubali’ series, actor Prabhas’s next film has undoubtedly turned into a much-anticipated project. Everyone would know that the actor has signed a multilingual film ‘Saaho’. But, ever since the project has been announced, the speculations regarding the leading lady are on. Reports were being heard that actress Katrina Kaif and Prabhas’s ‘Baahubali’ co-star Anushka Shetty had been approached for this project. And now one more name has been added to the list, that of Pooja Hegde.

A source close to the film’s unit has informed a leading daily that actress Pooja Hegde, the female lead in Allu Arjun’s upcoming film ‘Duvvada Jagannadham,’ has been approached for the role. If you remember, Pooja Hegde had made her Bollywood debut last year opposite Hrithik Roshan in ‘Mohenjo Daro’. (Also Read: Prabhas to marry this industrialist’s granddaughter and not Anushka Shetty?)

“Ever since Pooja debuted into Telugu cinema with ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ and was later seen in ‘Mukunda,’ many Telugu filmmakers have wanted to cast her,” added the source.

Further, the source said, “However, due to her contractual obligations for Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro,’ she didn’t sign any other film. If she agrees to do ‘Saaho,’ it would be quite a big ticket project for her soon after ‘DJ’.” [sic]

Well, let’s wait for an official confirmation on the same. Or else, Pooja’s name too will be added in the list of the leading ladies who were rumoured to be a part of this much-anticipated project.

Reportedly, ‘Saaho’ will see Prabhas in the role of a cop.
