The nation stands united in condemnation of the attack on a CRPF convoy on February 14, 2019 that caused the death of around 40 jawans. Salman Khan Films and Cine1 Studios, producers of the film ‘Notebook’, have decided to contribute a sum of Rs 22 lakh to the families of the victims.
The makers have not only contributed to the welfare of the martyr’s families, but Salman Khan has also decided to replace Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, who was roped in to sing a song in ‘Notebook’after the Pulwama attack. The re-recording of the song will be done in a day or two.
‘Notebook’ is a romantic drama which introduces Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl in Bollywood. The movie has been entirely shot in the beautiful locales of the Kashmir Valley in the months of October-November 2018.
The entire crew could shoot safely in the Valley primarily due to the efforts of the Indian Army, the CRPF and also the people of Kashmir, who have constantly ensured that law and order prevails in the region even under the most extreme circumstances. The makers have also offered prayers for the victims and extended their heartfelt condolences to their families.
‘Notebook’ is a 2019 Bollywood romance-drama that is helmed by National Award winning director Nitin Kakkar and produced by Salma Khan, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde.
The movie is all set to release in theatres on 29th March, 2019.
