‘Nai Lagda’ song: This love ballad will linger in your mind with its melodious tune

After an impressive trailer, the makers of ‘Notebook’ have just dropped the first song of the film titled ‘Nai Lagda’. The story of the film revolves around an ex-army officer (Zaheer Iqbal) who later becomes a teacher in a far off school in Jammu and Kashmir. In the school, Iqbal finds a notebook left behind by a teacher (Pranutan Bahl) who had to leave her job as she was about to get married.

The song ‘Nai Lagda’ is a love ballad which will linger in your mind with its soulful tune. The trailer of the film has garnered positive reactions and loved by the audience. It has intrigued everyone with the unusual and unconventional love story posing the question- Can you fall in love with someone whom you never met?

Interestingly both the actors Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan are making their Bollywood debut with this Salman Khan production. Notably, Pranutan in the daughter of Mohnish Bahl (who played Salman’s elder brother in ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’) and Zaheer Iqbal comes from a non-filmy background.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Salma Khan, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde ‘Notebook’ is scheduled to release on 29 March 2019.
