January 25, 2017 is going to be an eventful day as two big-budget films are set to clash at the box office. Sanjay Gupta directorial ‘Kaabil’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam would clash with Rahul Dholakia’s film ‘Raees’ starring Shah Rukh Khan. Both the films are much-awaited ones and the buzz around both is immense. But who would rule the box office, is yet to be known.
Hrithik as well as Shah Rukh Khan have so far maintained the decorum. People sure are making speculative stories about how this clash would bring about a difference in the friendship. But here’s what Hrithik feels about the clash. The superstar states that the clash could have been averted if the other film would have planned better.
As we know, ‘Raees’ got postponed at various instances, Hrithik says that even they were left with no choice. He was quoted saying, “I think ‘Raees’ also didn’t have any choice. The film is waiting for a release date for quite some time. It was supposed to release with ‘Sultan’ but it got pushed. They are also in a problem. I understand that. My sadness is only that if the party had planned it a little better than this clash would not have happened.”
Hrithik also revealed that his father Rakesh Roshan has sure felt bad about the clash. In an interview with PTI, he said, “My father is careful and concerned for others so he also expects other to be the same way. He is a little hurt and upset. But he is graceful about it. You can’t control the world you can only control your reaction and our reaction is very graceful so now let’s see.”
On being asked whether there’s any hard feeling for the people associated with ‘Raees’, he said, “People attached to ‘Raees’ are not doing it intentionally. There is nothing like revenge. But if they had planned it better and had executed it better then this clash would not have happened.”
With this, we look forward to the clash. Both the films seem to be tough competitors with great content to deliver. Let’s see what happens in the battleground. Till then, watch this space for more Bollywood updates.
