Oh No! There’s no remake of ‘Ram Lakhan’ happening confirms Rohit Shetty

We were all so excited to see the modern version of Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff starrer ‘Ram Lakhan’. Reportedly, a combination of two from Sidharth Malhotra, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and Shahid Kapoor was being considered. It was supposed to be helmed by Rohit Shetty in collaboration with Karan Johar. But unfortunately, ‘Ram Lakhan’ remake is not happening!

Putting an end to all the speculations and unwanted stories, Rohit Shetty has confirmed that he is not working on ‘Ram Lakhan’ remake. At a recent event he was quoted saying, “We are not doing it. Me and Karan are doing something else. Very soon, we’ll tell you what we are doing,” when asked about the film. Apparently, all the stars were interested to take up Lakhan’s character in the film, but there were no buyers for Ram’s character.

We are disappointed a bit as we were looking forward to this remake, but never mind!

As of now let’s look forward to Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal 4’.
