The reason actress Ojaswi Arora refused Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Gully Boy’

Actress Ojaswi Arora of ‘Kya Haal Mr. Paanchaal’, a comedy show on Star Bharat has left a huge mark on fans. She plays the role of a ditzy Pari in it. The actress will also be seen in ‘Comedy Circus’ now. But not many know that Ojaswi has let go of a golden opportunity.

She was to play an important role in Zoya Akhtar‘s upcoming release ‘Gully Boy’ but she didn’t take it up. Yes, it is shocking but tru. The film that is made on the lives of rapper Divine and Naezy stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles.

As per sources, Ojaswi was roped in to play an important role in the upcoming mega movie, ‘Gully Boy’, which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. However, she had to let go of the role because of her commitment to the Star Bharat show, ‘Kya Haal Mr. Panchaal’.

‘Gully Boy‘ is inspired by the lives of Mumbai rappers- Divine and Naezy and their rise from the slums to go on and be a name to be reckoned with in the field of rapping.

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are coming together for the first time in the much-awaited release. The two actors have worked together in a number of commercials where their chemistry was much loved by the fans.

This is Ranveer’s second collaboration with Zoya Akhtar after ‘Dil Dhadkne Do’. The movie also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Kalki Koechlin and is slated to release on February 14, 2018.
