OMG: Akshay Kumar injured on sets of Singh is Bling

Bollywood khiladi Akshay Kumar is known for his dare devil stunts, the ‘Gabbar Is Back’ actor who prefers to carry out stunts without the use of a body double, recently was injured during a stunt performance for his film ‘Singh is Bling’.

Akshay Kumar burnt his leg while performing a stunt during the shooting of the song ‘Tung tung baje’ from ‘Singh Is Bling’. The fittest actor of Bollywood was required to perform a number of stunts for the song and one of them was to jump through a hula-hoop set on fire.

Sources added that, even though a number of precautions were taken, the mishap took place. Akshay Kumar ended up suffering minor burns but the dedicated actor was soon seen shooting for the movie without a break.

Directed by Prabhudheva, ‘Singh Is Bling’ also features Amy Jackson and Lara Dutta. The film is slated to release on 2 October.
