The resounding success of ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’ has kept the entire nation talking. While, we have all discussed and delved deeper into the lives of the characters onscreen and off it, one very important character stays unfamiliar. We are talking about the little baby who played the younger version of Mahendra Baahubali. In the first part, we had seen a few glimpses of the baby being rescued by her grandmother, Rajmata Sivagami. The scene where Rajmata gets drowned but saves the baby was one of the highlights. Also, the picture of Kattappa holding the baby in his arms comes to our mind.
If you see that picture, you would assume it to be VFX or a doll, but it’s a real baby and that too a girl. Yes, the younger version of Baahubali was played by a baby girl and the shocking part is when her scenes were shot, she was just 18-days-old. Yes, reports in a leading daily suggest that the baby girl’s real name is Akshitha Valslan, daughter of Smitha and Valslan (Production executive of ‘Baahubali 2’). The scenes took five days to finish and we just can’t believe that Akshitha was just 18-days-old at the time.
Here’s one more picture of the baby girl with her mother.
Isn’t it a fascinating fact to know? Little Akshitha truly had us awed while she was on screen.
Passionate about writing, and a Bollywood lover, she is all that is sweet and endearing! She desires to put her best foot forward in everything that she does and loves to help anyone who’s in need.
