OMG! ‘Dangal’ girl Zaira Wasim escapes a fatal accident

Zaira Wasim, who left a mark with her performance in ‘Dangal’, recently met with an unfortunate accident. The lady who hails from Kashmir was travelling in a car with someone when the driver lost control over the vehicle. She was at Boulevard Road in Srinagar when her car went out of control. The vehicle then accidentally fell into Dal Lake along with the actress and others, who were all still seated. As per the reports, the locals there rescued her and her co-passengers from Dal Lake.

A local from Kashmir quoted to a news agency, “Locals immediately rescued her and her companion. She escaped unhurt, but her companion sustained injuries in the accident.” Report in Mumbai Mirror further claims that the car belonged to a local politician in Kashmir. Zaira’s friend was rescued late, around 9 pm on Thursday. “Both of them survived but her friend suffered several injuries,” another local from Kashmir informed the news agency.
