OMG – Farhan Akhtar called a Pakistani on social media

Actor-director-singer Farhan Akhtar, recently took a strong stand against the murder of Mohammad Akhlaq, who was killed by a mob on October 28, in Dadri in Uttar Pradesh. The man was killed over rumours that he had eaten and stored beef. Farhan had posted his disgust against the drastic act and titled it as: “The Shame of Dadri and Thwarting of the Mahatma’s Dream” on his Facebook page.

A few days later Farhan posted about his ‘Rock On’ sequel, quoting ‘We are ready to Rock and Roll’. Reacting to Farhan’s simple comment a fan connected a UP murder where a man had killed his daughter for not covering her head while eating, to Farhan by calling him a Pakistani. To which Farhan had replied with elan.
