OMG: Ranbir Kapoor – Katrina Kaif married as per new law

The Honorable Supreme Court has passed that all those couples in a live in relationship, will be considered married. This was declared by a bench of Justice M Y Eqbal and Justice Amitava Roy. They said that continuous cohabitation by a couple will be presumed as them being married and they will have to prove they are not.

The bench quoted, “It is well settled that the law presumes in favour of marriage and against concubinage, when a man and woman have cohabited continuously for a long time. However, the presumption can be rebutted by leading unimpeachable evidence. A heavy burden lies on a party who seeks to deprive the relationship of legal origin.”

Bollywood lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been in living together. The couple have bought a penthouse in Bandra where they host party for their friends. At present speculations about them getting married soon is doing the rounds. Now with the Supreme Court ruling, the law considers them already married now.
