Superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Jai Ho’ is a remake of South movie ‘Stalin’, that had south superstar Chiranjeevi in it. Released around 2006 the movie had done business to the tune of Rs 30 crore. There are whispers around Bollywood circles that the remake rights of the movie have been bought at Rs 4.5 crores the highest for any movie.

As per sources, the remake rights of the film, from director AR Murugadoss, were purchased at a whopping Rs 4.5 crore, the highest for any South remake. The deal has been done at an exorbitant amount. However, the director of ‘Jai Ho’, Sohail Khan, denied it”.
Well hope they recover the alleged amount on the release of the movie in January.
