OMG – Salman Khan forgets his promise

Superstar Salman Khan known for his charitable work has helped many a needy person and has also opened a charitable organisation ‘Being Human’ to carry out his philanthropic work, but what is this?  The Dabangg Khan too has forsaken the one that he had promised to take care of. Sallu  had promised to help a social worker, but no help has reached the social worker even after three years.

As per sources, during his Dabangg days Salman had pledged support to  a professor Sandeep Desai who commutes by local trains for a good six hours everyday – all to raise funds aimed at setting up schools for underprivileged children. Desai said, “Everyday I travel from Churchgate to Goregaon and back in my bid to collect funds for the education of underprivileged children and kids in rural areas. When Salman Khan heard about me in 2010, he offered to help me. Salman even put up a post on a social media site encouraging his fans to generously contribute to Desai’s cause. I had hoped that Salman would stick to his word but after all these years, I haven’t received any help from him. I am disheartened by this turn of events.”

Salman’s spokesperson said that an official from Salman’s ‘Being Human Foundation’ will now contact Desai to look into the matter. All is well that ends well, we hope that Desai receives the help as soon as possible.
