OMG: Shamita Shetty injured on ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Reloaded’ sets

Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty who was displaying her dancing talent on the reality dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Reloaded’, was recently injured on the sets. Shilpa Shetty’s little sister while rehearsing a complicated step for the show dashed into her choreographer and broke her nose.

Shamita Shetty broke her nasal bone and was soon bleeding profusely, she was rushed to a hospital where the doctors performed a surgery on Friday July 24th to set her nose straight. The diva at present is advised a bed rest for two weeks. but professional that Shamita is she feels that the show must go on.

Shamita Shetty speaking from her hospital bed said, “I fractured my nose while rehearsing on Thursday (July 23). It was a freak accident. I dashed into my choreographer Deepaks.”

She further added that, “They had to stitch the inside of the nose, and now it is in a plaster and tough to manage. The painkillers and antibiotics are taking a toll on my body, as I feel drained of all my energy. I am feeling terrible. I am supposed to rest for two weeks at least, and not be performing. But, as they say, the show must go on. I am sad that my act won’t be as power-packed as my earlier ones. Right now, I don’t know how I will dance with a plaster on my nose, but an injury won’t keep me out.”

Hats off to the girl to keep the show going in such pain.
